Karl Laundal

Karl Laundal is a researcher at the University of Bergen's Department of Physics and Technology in Norway. He leads the Dynamics of the Asymmetric Geospace group at the Birkeland Centre for Space Science, a Norwegian Centre of Excellence. This group is dedicated to exploring asymmetries in the magnetosphere and ionosphere's large-scale dynamics. He is the Principal Investigator of the DynaMIT project, an ERC consolidator grant awarded in 2023 to study and simulate the coupling between the atmosphere and space. He is a co-investigator and team leader for NASA's EZIE mission.
