Harry Arnold

Expertise: Theory and Modeling
Science area: Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) and kinetic plasma physics, magnetotail
Tools/Assets: GAMERA, P3D, kglobal
Short bio: Harry Arnold is a post-doctoral researcher at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. He utilizes data mining reconstructions of the Earth’s magnetosphere combined with MHD and PIC simulations to study the details of magnetotail magnetic reconnection. His scientific interests include magnetotail reconnection, 3D reconnection, nonthermal particle acceleration, and non-MHD current sheet equilibria.
