Adam Michael

Expertise: Modeling
Science area: Magnetohydrodynamics, kinetic plasma physics, magnetosphere
Tools/Assets: GAMERA, CHIMP
Short bio: Adam Michael is a post-doctoral researcher at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. He combines global MHD and kinetic simulations to study the processes governing energetic particles and their feedback on the global geospace system. His research interests include transport and acceleration in the magnetotail and the dynamics of the ring current and radiation belts.
